Welcome to Zion! We're glad you are here. For more than a century, Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church has cultivated a rich history in the heart of south Minneapolis. We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA). Our mission is to put the love of Jesus into action by: Worshipping Together, Teaching All Generations, Welcoming Diverse Individuals and Building Community in the Lyndale Neighborhood.
As a Reconciling in Christ Congregation since 1991, we welcome all people. The diversity of our congregation and surrounding community enriches us greatly and we invite all to share in this heritage with us.
