We invite you to “share” in this experience by purchasing “stock” in our Youth. For just $25 per share, you will be helping our youth grow in their Christian faith, life and community.
All shareholders will receive an official “Certificate of Stock” as well as an invitation to a stockholders dinner at Zion Lutheran Church in the in the fall of 2010 where our youth will give a presentation of their experiences. All donations are tax-deductible. Your support is greatly appreciated!

2010 SUMMER YOUTH TRIPS
CHRISTIKON LUTHERAN BIBLE CAMP
In July of 2010 several of Zion’s youth will be traveling to Christikon Lutheran Bible Camp in the Beartooth Mountains of Montana. We will spend four nights and five days backpacking in the wilderness. It is the mission of Christikon to awaken and nurture faith in Christ exploring God's creation and the adventure of life together. This summer we hope our entire Christikon adventure may be an encounter with the gospel, an experience of being the church together, an opportunity for growth and nurture in the faith. And of course it doesn’t hurt that all of this adventure happens in the middle of a magnificent outdoor setting.
LUTHER PARK BIBLE CAMP
This summer, several of Zion’s youth will be travelling to Luther Park Camping & Retreat Center. Luther Park is a Christ-centered outdoor ministry of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America), located in northwestern, Wisconsin, on the shores of beautiful, spring-fed lake 26. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of forest land and trails, the camp is seven miles east of Danbury, Wisconsin, and 118 miles northeast of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our youth will enjoy all the usual camp activities like swimming, crafts, outdoor worship, campfires, relaxing on the beach and night hikes. This camping adventure meets the needs and interests of today’s youth, providing a week to share and grow in Christian faith, life and community. Joel Legred from Luther Park will be with us at the morning worship service on Sunday, May 16, 2010.

SUMMER DAY CAMP@ ZION
Plans are well under way for the Day Camp 2010 FILLED WITH JOY!
This year Day Camp will be held at Zion, beginning Monday, June 14, at 9 a.m. through Thursday, June 17th at 4:00 p.m. Each day will have a Bible Study, stories, games and activities, arts and crafts …. And more! There will be special music classes, making quilts for babies in a Crisis Nursery, swimming, cooking classes, lots and lots of fun and activity!
Five churches – Calvary, Our Saviour’s, Little Flock Community of Faith, Salem Lutheran and Lyndale UCC join Zion in this Day Camp. The Camp will be led by Luther Crest Bible Camp staff, assisted by volunteers from the above churches.
We are looking for volunteers to come and help, for donations of snacks, for gifts of money for scholarships for youth … watch for more information!
