Please come and experience Recovery Worship and God’s grace at Zion!

Zion’s Recovery Ministry involves a welcoming worship environment for helping those who are or have been afflicted or affected by addiction and/or mental illness. It is in the midst of our brokenness that we encounter God’s unconditional love—it is where the journey of life and faith meet.

At Zion we seek to transcend the isolation and despair that comes with this brokenness. We meet each other, just as God does, where we are at in the here and now, in the midst of celebrations and struggles. We journey together towards a sense of community surrounded by and wrapped with God’s love and grace. It is here where life and faith are transformed.

We know it takes courage and strength to ask for help for yourself or on behalf of your loved ones. Zion Lutheran Church offers support to the mentally ill, alcoholics, addicts and the people who care about them.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next.   Amen---- Reinhold Niebuhr
